Barata is located in a pleasant little corner of Kalofer. The Tundja River passess in front of the house, sounds from the waterfall that feeds the mill fill the backyard and there are lovely views of the adjacent pine woods and nearby Saint Archangel Michael Church. Inside the house is a century-old wool preparation workshop and a wash mill, both of which remain in use today. During the summer, guests can relax in the garden and prepare a meal using the barbeque and fully equipped outside kitchen, while during the winter months, guests can relax by the fireplace and make use of the fully equipped dining area.

Barata sleeps up to eight people and consists of two apartments with private bathrooms. Dinner and breakfast may be provided upon request. Prices are reduced for stays of three days or more.
