The Central Balkan Kalofer Ecotourism Association, with financial support from the BULGARIAN - AMERICAN SOCIETY, recently completed the development of the Saint Kirik Recreational Area. This new recreational area is located approximately 3 km from the Kalofer town center and provides visitors with the opportunity to learn about the cultural and natural significance of the area while enjoying many new amenities including:

• Camping facilities with tables, benches and fire rings
• Play area for children
• Composting toilets
• Environmental and cultural education signage and activities

The area offers hiking opportunities and is located approximately 3 km from the National Park entrance. Come and enjoy this restful place while soaking up beautiful nature and learning about the area's cultural significance.
